Špela graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana. During her studies, she interned at the Administrative Court of the Republic of Slovenia in Ljubljana and participated in research projects at the Institute of Criminology.
As a student, she first gained work experience in a boutique law firm specializing in commercial law and public procurement law. Later, as a student and junior associate at a Slovenian branch of an international law firm, she worked in the field of due diligence and advised mainly foreign clients in the areas of corporate, labor, and immigration law.
Špela now advises Slovenian and foreign clients, primarily in the field of commercial and civil law, and also works in the field of dispute resolution.
